Overview of Academic Research

Prof. Xue Xianghui’s research interest is in the field of single-photon precision measurement, focusing on overcoming challenges such as high-precision detection technology for near-Earth space environments, and achieving the following important achievements:

* Based on key technologies for infrared single-photon precision measurement, all-season measurements of metastable helium atoms in the neutral atmosphere at an altitude of 1,000 km were realized.

* Cooperatively developed the hundred-kilometer dual-comb spectroscopy technology for open atmosphere, extending the horizontal detection distance to 113 kilometers.

* Explored HOM interference technology in atmospheric lidar remote sensing, forming high spatio-temporal resolution detection of atmospheric elements in the disturbance excitation region of the lower atmosphere.
