Overview of Academic Research
Prof. Xiao’s research interest is in theoretical condensed matter physics, focusing on spintronics, including spin transport in magnetic nanostructures, magnetization dynamics, and parametric spin pumping. Recent interests include magnonics, cavity spintronics, and spin-based neuromorphic, probabilistic, and quantum computing.
