Overview of Academic Research
His research focuses on many-body problems in condensed matter physics. In particular, he is interested in the statistical properties and quantum phase transitions in two-dimensional electron systems through innovations in ultra-low-temperature experimental techniques. He designed and realized a cryogen-free refrigerator below 0.1 mK.
