Overview of Academic Research

Professor Qing-Feng Sun's research interest is the systematic study on quantum computing, with a particular focus on the field of topological quantum computing. He has achieved several outstanding and innovative results in realizing topological states and exploring their quantum transport properties through the use of new degrees of freedom, various topological systems, diverse chiral molecular systems, and more.

His/her major achievements include:

* ‌Predicted the spin superconducting diode effect and provided its universal theoretical framework.

* In chiral organic molecule-superconductor hybrid systems, predicted the existence of Majorana zero-energy modes.

* Clarified the mechanism of the half-quantized Hall conductance in magnetic topological insulators.

* Discovered the coexistence, mutual evolution, and hybridization of atomic collapse states and whispering gallery modes in graphene systems.
